I'm AlexSquid, a freelance artist & animator. After a 10 year career in creating content for clients, I wanted to make something for myself. Welcome to the world of Doodle Champs, my dream project; a game for artists, by an artist.

Free of subscription services, microtransactions, AI, and NFT nonsense. Doodle Champs is my gift to the art community. I wanted to make a place for artists to hang out and play fun mini-games together, but not just basic touch-functionality games - I wanted functional pen pressure, something that no other art games have implemented to this day. - I'm incredibly proud of how the game's turned out, with 4 really fun party games that never fail to get a laugh. If you love to doodle, grab some friends, jump into any game mode and I guarantee you'll have a blast.

Due to an unfortunate mix of personal health and financial circumstances, Doodle Champs' development time has been stretched across 4 years, rather than the initially hoped 1-2 year development cycle. This game was entirely self-funded by me, and this was no easy task. It's cost everything I earned in my 10 year career and far beyond. Constantly on the back foot, I've worked overtime and weekends for years to ensure I could pay my programmer properly, and get as many fun features into this party game as possible.

Thankfully, despite that, I'm proud to say that the entire development time has been ethical, with no crunch time, and with any contracted freelancers on my crew being paid properly, and promptly for their time.
